What changes in the second generation of the textile NFC tag?
Second generation
After two years of development, Exteryo Two Extra Flexible brings our textile NFC tag to the second generation. It all starts with a new mesh support.
The support
The mesh support is the net base of the tag: in the second generation it is new, and that is where the two main gains come from.

The gain does not cost resistance: in our internal tests the tag withstands over 60 industrial wash cycles at 90 °C.

The 40% is a comparison with the first generation of the same tag, not with textile tags from other manufacturers.

Thickness and resistance must be read together: a thinner tag is only worth it if it continues to withstand washes.

A number of washes is only as valid as the conditions under which it was measured. The Exteryo Two figure comes from our internal tests.

What to ask
When comparing different textile tags, this is the information to ask for each declared figure, along with who performed the test.
Note
«Over 60 cycles» says how many washes the tag passed in the tests, not how many it will withstand on every garment.
