The world of collecting (rare cards, vintage wines, limited-edition sneakers) is changing: today's collectors also want a digital counterpart, a token that proves the piece's rarity.
The problem
If the physical object is sold in one place and the digital token in another, the value scatters. Someone could keep the digital certificate and sell a counterfeit object. There needs to be a way to keep the real object and its digital soul together.
The solution
We store the digital soul inside the physical object. We embed a protected chip in the product: to see the digital certificate or access exclusive benefits, you have to physically touch the object with your smartphone. If the object is sold, the chip automatically transfers the certificate to the new owner as well. Two sides of the same coin, bound together forever.
The value for the customer
Protected value and new markets. Collectors get proof of authenticity, and a certified second-hand market is created in which the producer keeps earning on every future change of ownership.
