How can the store clerk know that the shoes the customer is returning are exactly the ones bought on the website, and not a similar but older pair or, worse, a fake? Return fraud costs retailers thousands of euros every month and creates tension with customers. Companies work only with the SKU barcode, which gives the product no serial value.

When the customer walks into the store, the clerk scans the product's serial code and the system instantly confirms the match. If everything checks out, the store's stock updates in real time, making the product immediately available for sale.
